Ne-Yo is facing a lawsuit after a woman claims his dog attacked her while she was making a package delivery at his Georgia home.
Dominique Bridgett filed the suit over an incident she says occurred on or about July 12, 2025 at the singer’s residence. She was lawfully delivering a package when the dog on the property attacked her, resulting in what she describes as serious injuries.

According to the complaint, the attack left Bridgett with “severe bodily injury, pain, shock, and distress.” Medical treatment for her injuries has already totaled $9,039.50, and she’s seeking that amount from Ne-Yo along with additional damages for the incident.
The lawsuit mirrors a similar case involving Chris Brown, who was sued by former housekeeper Maria Avila over a dog attack at his home. Brown lost that case and was ordered to pay nearly $13 million in damages. Avila recently filed to collect a portion of Brown’s earnings from his current tour with Usher.

Ne-Yo has not yet responded to the allegations or commented on the lawsuit. We’ve reached out to his team for a statement.
