Nicki Minaj has had enough of Democrats blending politics with pop culture. In a new interview set to air tonight on Fox News, the rapper is calling out the party for being “petty and childish” in how they’ve handled their relationships with artists.
Speaking with Lara Trump for her Fox News show, Nicki Minaj opened up about her growing distance from Democratic politics. “I think the Democrats have gotten way too caught up in pop culture, for lack of a better term,” she explained in a clip from the upcoming episode.

She pressed further, saying the party has “allowed their relationships with artists to cause them to act like children and to be so petty and childish.” The criticism reflects a broader frustration she’s voiced about how politicians engage with entertainers.
This isn’t the first time Nicki has been transparent about her political leanings. Last week, when Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked what she’d say to critics of her support for President Trump, Nicki’s response was blunt: “Absolutely nothing.”
Her willingness to discuss politics outside traditional entertainment spaces has made her a polarizing figure, but she seems unbothered by the backlash. The upcoming Fox News interview appears to double down on that approach, giving her a platform to explain her thinking without filtering for her typical audience.
