Atlanta trap veteran OJ da Juiceman is in serious legal trouble after being arrested in Georgia over allegations that he pointed a handgun at a state trooper during a wild highway encounter.

According to reports, the incident dates back to late January on I-20 East in Atlanta, where a Georgia State Patrol officer claims OJ da Juiceman was driving aggressively—tailgating, honking, and weaving through traffic. The trooper alleges that things escalated when OJ passed him and pointed a black handgun in his direction multiple times before speeding off.

    The situation didn’t end there.

Authorities say the trooper caught up with the rapper again, only for OJ to allegedly repeat the same behavior—pointing the weapon and continuing to drive recklessly through traffic.

After an investigation, law enforcement says they identified OJ and the vehicle involved—a Nissan Altima—leading to an arrest warrant being issued. He was officially taken into custody on March 15 and is now facing a total of 10 charges.

Among the most serious charges: felony aggravated assault on a public safety officer, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and a misdemeanor charge for pointing a gun at another person, along with several traffic-related offenses.

But OJ isn’t going down without a fight.

His legal team is pushing back hard, arguing that the rapper—known for his contributions to Atlanta’s trap scene—has deep roots in the community and is not a flight risk. They also introduced a sworn affidavit from a woman claiming OJ was not even driving the car at the time of the alleged incident.

According to her statement, OJ rented the vehicle on her behalf, and she later allowed another man to use it—suggesting the person behind the wheel during the alleged confrontation may not have been the rapper at all.

So far, OJ’s camp has stayed quiet publicly, declining to comment on the situation.

As the case unfolds, the streets are watching closely—because if proven otherwise, this could turn from a serious legal situation into a case of mistaken identity.
