Prince Andrew Faces Misconduct Allegations

Former British Prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor is back in the headlines after royal biographer Andrew Lownie accused him of “shameless” behavior toward a flight attendant. The scandal continues to unfold as new allegations emerge from those with firsthand accounts of his conduct.

Lownie, who wrote Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, made the allegation during a guest appearance on the Daily Expresso podcast. Speaking with host JJ Anisiobi, the author claimed Andrew Mountbatten Windsor once greeted a flight attendant in an extremely inappropriate manner. His documented pattern of behavior raises serious questions about accountability within royal circles.

“[Andrew] greets an air hostess on a plane, swings her around and basically grinds himself into her behind,” Lownie said.

“I’ve got stories like that with yoga instructors, a whole series of people,” he continued. “Often with people around him.” Lownie then said, “He’s completely shameless.”

The latest claim comes after months and years of scandal over Andrew’s connection to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has long denied allegations of wrongdoing tied to Epstein. In October 2025, Buckingham Palace announced that King Charles had begun the formal process of removing Andrew’s styles, titles, and honors, and that he would be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

Lownie’s updated paperback also includes another alleged flight story. The author wrote that a stewardess on a 2010 first-class British Airways flight to New York recalled Andrew complaining that a bottle of water was too cold. According to Lownie, Andrew allegedly put the “bottle of water down his trousers” to warm it up.

“Andrew’s strange behavior has affected so many people,” Lownie wrote.
