Raiders star Maxx Crosby took over Marquee LV on Friday night, trading his typical role on the defensive line for the mic and the stage. The All-Pro edge rusher performed in front of a packed crowd that included some of sports’ biggest names, fresh off a high-intensity weekend in Las Vegas.
Fresh from three days at his annual Sack Summit—where the NFL’s top pass rushers gather to train and connect—Maxx Crosby was in full party mode at the nightclub inside The Cosmopolitan, one of Vegas’s most sought-after spots. The 28-year-old, who goes by the stage name PlaqueBoyMaxx when performing, arrived just before midnight and kept the energy going until well after 3 AM.
He performed “2am in Vegas,” a single he released in April 2026. The track feels fitting for a night that played out exactly like the title promised.
The guest list read like an all-star ballot. Boxing champ Ryan Garcia was there. So were NBA stars Devin Booker, John Wall, and Kevin Durant. NFL players Dak Prescott, Derwin James, and Von Miller rounded out the crowd. You could’ve fielded a championship roster from the athletes in the room alone.
The timing made sense. Vegas was packed this weekend. The Sack Summit—founded by Von Miller in 2017—was wrapping up, bringing together the league’s fiercest pass rushers for intensive training and networking. The NBA Summer League was also in full swing. And UFC 239 was happening at T-Mobile Arena Saturday night, with Conor McGregor making his highly anticipated return to face Max Holloway.
Crosby’s a serious MMA fan, so a McGregor fight wouldn’t be something he’d miss. It’s likely he’ll be cageside for the main event.
Beyond his performance Friday night, Crosby has become a key fixture at the Sack Summit over the past couple of years. He’s now a co-host for the event, which brings together some of the NFL’s most dominant pass rushers. It’s another side of his game—one that extends well beyond the field.
