Well, y’all, LiAngelo Ball is out here in these streets, publicly confessing his wrongs. He’s admitting he messed up by stepping out on the mother of his two beautiful children, Miss Nikki Baby.
On a recent “Ball In Family” podcast episode, LiAngelo Ball, affectionately known as Gelo, dropped a bombshell. He told his co-host he actually hates his estranged wife, Rashida Nicole.
He even admitted he should’ve just stayed “home” with Miss Nikki Baby and worked things out. For real, Gelo and Rashida Nicole tied the knot on March 24, 2025.
But court docs reveal he filed for divorce just months later, listing their separation as June 15, 2025, right after her pregnancy announcement. Messy, right?
Now, Miss Rashida—who, let’s be real, fans tried to warn that this relationship could go sideways—definitely caught wind of Gelo’s podcast comments. She wasn’t holding back, jumping straight into BlkCosmo’s comment section.
Her message was clear: “Now you don’t like me, but you didn’t like her either! Boy, meanwhile you out here moving other females in a whole ‘nother house! You are literally full of it and it’s disgusting!” Whew! Talk about spilling the tea.
Rashida Nicole, who just welcomed their baby girl, wasn’t done. She followed up with an Instagram post, letting the world know, “I hope y’all see how much of a clown he really is now! None of it makes sense… He can never take accountability for nothing! No one forced a grown man to do anything! Just like I can’t force him to be a Dad!!! #deadbeat.” She said what she said!
So, with all this drama, what’s Miss Nikki Baby got to say?
Interestingly, the always-classy and seemingly unbothered model hasn’t publicly reacted to any of this new drama. Not even to the apology Rashida Nicole recently offered her, which read:
“I’ve taken accountability privately, and I want to publicly apologize to @missNikkiibaby for the pain I caused. I’m grateful we were able to talk, get clarity and create space for healing and a positive future for our kids. Thank you to her and her family for supporting me during this pregnancy – your grace means more than you know.”
Rashida continued, not mincing words:
“But I won’t protect someone who never protected me. Someone who disrespected me, lied on me, and pushed a one-sided narrative to avoid accountability, continue to inflict pain and build broken homes. I haven’t shared the worst of what I experienced out of respect for him as a father — a respect I never received in return.”
Meanwhile, Nikki Mudarris (aka Miss Nikki Baby) and LiAngelo Ball are parents to two beautiful children: a son, LaVelo Anthony Ball (born July 2023), and a daughter, LaNiyah Nicole Ball (born December 2024).
They recently came together to celebrate their daughter’s birthday, showing a united front for the kids. However, whether these two are officially back on is still up in the air.
