Word on the street is that R&B crooner Sammie, known and loved for those early 2000s jams like “I Like It” and “Come With Me,” has been arrested in Henry County, Georgia. The charges? Heavy, y’all, including Cruelty to Children and Battery (Family Violence).
According to the Henry County Police Department’s official booking records, our brother Sammie was taken into custody facing these charges:
- Cruelty to Children – 3rd Degree (Misdemeanor)
- Battery (Family Violence)
- Fugitive In-State
The police even released his mugshot and booking details, confirming that he bonded out for $1,050. We’re keeping tabs on the situation.
Details about the alleged incident are scarce right now, but those “Family Violence” and “Cruelty to Children” charges suggest a possible domestic dispute witnessed by a minor. We’re not jumping to conclusions, though. No official word from Sammie or his legal folks yet.
As it stands, no court date’s been set, and the case is still under investigation. We’ll be watching this one closely and keeping you informed as the story develops.
