It has been a decade since the passing of musical icon Prince, and the music world is still searching for an heir to the Purple Rain star's throne. The Minneapolis legend redefined what it meant to be a pop sensation, leaving boots too large for any single artist to fill. However, several contemporary artists could be in the running as his successor.

Tickets for Stevie Wonder's 50th-anniversary Songs in the Key of Life tour are officially on sale. Released in 1976, Wonder's musical masterpiece gave us classics like Sir Duke, I Wish, and Isn't She Lovely, cementing the legendary singer's place in music history. The album made history on the Billboard 200 chart by becoming the third album to debut at number one and the first album by an American artist to do so. Wonder recorded countless songs over the two-year period it took to complete the project, with co-engineer John Fischbach recalling something like 200 songs were created during that time.

Masego stopped by On The Radar and performed Go and Dotted Line off Fix Your Face, plus the classic Girls That Dance. He sang half of it lying down.

She just announced Machiko, her sophomore album, out October 9. It's her first full-length since Overgrown in 2021, with Crack The Code and Break Me In already setting the tone. Five years is a long wait, and everything she's dropped this year says it'll be worth it.

On the R&B Money Podcast, Joe said the project is written and produced entirely by him, recorded with live instruments and strings, and will come out through distribution rather than a label. A vinyl pressing is planned. A single is tentatively set for release this year.
