Real Housewives of Orange County is serving up drama once again. Shannon Beador is drawing a clear line with Tamra Judge—and it’s not moving. She’s willing to share a room and laugh together, but that’s genuinely where she wants the relationship to stay.
“I can be in a room [with her]. I can share a laugh [with her],” Shannon told Entertainment Tonight ahead of the Season 20 premiere. When asked if that could spark a real friendship comeback, Shannon kept it real: “Let’s just keep it there. I’m not trying to be an asshole. That’s just what is best for me.” You can dive deeper into this on Real Housewives of Orange County coverage for all the latest tea.
Shannon and Tamra have been through it all during their years on the Bravo series. Friendship, feuds, reconciliation attempts—they’ve cycled through every version of the relationship. It’s exhausting just thinking about it. Their latest rift hits different though, especially with Vicki Gunvalson’s return bringing the original Tres Amigas back together on the same cast.
Here’s where it gets interesting: Tamra recently revealed that she and Shannon spoke on the phone for two hours. Gina Kirschenheiter wasn’t having it. “I filmed an entire season of us trying to get [you two] together, and now you’re going to be on the phone for two hours?” Gina called out the contradiction. Sometimes the best conversations happen behind closed doors, away from the cameras and the pressure to perform harmony. That’s real talk.
Season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres July 9 on Bravo and arrives on Peacock the next day.
