Streamer DeenTheGreat Arrested for Attempted Robbery

DeenTheGreat won’t be streaming from his usual setup today. The influencer boxer was arrested Wednesday morning in Miami-Dade County and booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, according to jail records.

Real name Nurideen Shabazz, DeenTheGreat faces a felony robbery charge. Bond hasn’t been set yet.

The incident allegedly went down on a yacht after a woman named Destiny Aleman claimed Deen got possessive. According to police, he was upset that other men were trying to talk to her despite his warnings. When she got off the boat, he grabbed her forearm and tried to snatch her phone, leaving a minor scratch in the scuffle.

Ring camera footage from the yacht owner told the real story. Video showed Deen yelling for someone to grab the phone and stop any recording. He repeatedly put his hands on Aleman as she tried to escape, with her eventually curling up on the ground to protect herself. She managed to break free and get away.
