The Verzuz smoke between T.I. and 50 Cent just got thicker — and Tip is making it clear he’s not backing down.
After calling 50 out during his sit-down on Nightcap Live with Shannon Sharpe and Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson — claiming the G-Unit boss has been ducking a Verzuz battle — 50 wasted no time trolling.
Instead of a direct response, 50 posted a throwback clip of T.I.’s Crime Stoppers Atlanta commercial, followed by courtroom footage of Tip testifying in Cincinnati during the murder trial of Hosea Thomas. T.I. had testified for the prosecution about a 2006 shootout that tragically took the life of his assistant, Philant Johnson.
The posts immediately sparked debate online, with fans arguing over whether 50 was dodging the musical smoke or simply playing chess the only way he knows how — through social media pressure.
But T.I. wasn’t about to let that narrative slide.
Tip responded by posting a clip of himself out at dinner with his wife and children, looking unbothered and focused. His caption made his stance crystal clear:
“I dont fear my past Im too focused on the future.
Top 20 in 2 weeks & climbing. Now #LetemKnow THAT 👑!!!
I’m LOVED not LIKED. #MyGodDontPlayBoutMe”
Rather than engaging in back-and-forth trolling, T.I. leaned into growth, family, and forward motion — subtly reminding everyone that his catalog is still charting and his legacy speaks for itself.
Now the question remains: Will this stay an Instagram war, or will 50 eventually step into the Verzuz ring?
For now, Tip says he’s focused on the future — and letting the numbers talk.
