Homecoming season at historically Black colleges and universities is right around the corner, which means it's time for football, tailgates, reunions and some serious outfits. HBCU homecoming is just as much about the outfits as it is about the football. The campus becomes a runway, with students and alumni bringing their best looks while repping their schools. Think bold colors, denim, Greek paraphernalia, sneakers, accessories and plenty of personality.

Kirk Franklin recently addressed backlash over praying with R&B artists Chris Brown, Usher, and Mario. In an interview with Angela Yee, Franklin explained that as a faith messenger, he must sometimes meet people where they are rather than expecting them to come to church. He emphasized that believers often carry misconceptions about holiness, noting that sinful people exist everywhere, including inside churches. Franklin argued that true Christian evangelism requires leaving the safety of church walls to spread the gospel to those who don't already believe, stating that meeting people in unconventional spaces like concert backstages isn't compromising faith—it's practicing it.

50 Cent is launching a new live table game called Headcrack inspired by the legendary New York street dice game Cee-lo. He's partnering with gaming company TCSJOHNHUXLEY to create a casino version. The game debuts at G2E Las Vegas 2026 in September. It keeps the basic elements of Cee-lo while adding dealers, betting structures, and casino technology. The ultimate roll is 4-5-6, which causes the table to erupt with "Headcrack!"

From signing high-profile open letters demanding a ceasefire to leveraging content on personal social media channels, these artists are drawing parallels between international human rights movements and global fights for racial justice. By doing so, these Black celebrities build upon a historical tradition of Black-Palestinian solidarity linking domestic racial equality struggles to global movements for justice.
