The concert started over four hours late at 12:20 am. Memphis thought the event might get shut down if Jay didn't take the stage by midnight. Once on stage though, Jay-Z brought the house down as he always does.

While it was only the first stop of three more anniversary concerts scheduled for Los Angeles, Paris and London, it set the tone for exciting moments to come, as Hov was joined by a star-studded list of guests onstage, including Beyoncé, Usher, Fat Joe and Pharrell.
