Lil Durk says prosecutors completely changed their case against him just weeks before trial, piling on new allegations including drug trafficking, robbery, and an old Atlanta shooting. His lawyers argue they spent 19 months preparing for the murder-for-hire case tied to the 2022 killing of Quando Rondo's cousin, only for the government to bring back evidence about a January 2022 Chicago killing they'd previously taken off the table. Durk wants the judge to split the new charges away from the original case or throw the whole indictment out as a violation of his right to a speedy trial.

Chris Brown Dog Attack Trial Stalled After Juror Scandal
