Seven’s grandmother, Sharon Smith, who raised him from infancy, told local outlet 11 Alive that her grandson took his own life after shooting his sister.

“Just that fast that boy had made the decision to kill himself,” Smith said. “He probably sat up there and thought, ‘I’m finna go to jail, they’re going to ridicule me, everybody is going to be doing this and that and this, and this and that,’ and he couldn’t take it.”

Smith says she doesn’t know how Seven obtained the gun but hopes the person responsible for providing it faces prosecution.

21 Savage, identified as Seven’s uncle, posted a tribute after his death, sharing a childhood photo with the caption: “Remember when you was a baby.”

The family released a statement calling for community action on gun violence. “As our family grieves, we are asking our community to stand with us in another way,” it read. “Please help us get these guns off our streets. Far too many young lives are being taken by senseless gun violence. We must work together to stop the illegal sale and access of firearms to minors and do everything we can to protect our children.”

Iglehart was bleeding heavily and required hospitalization following the alleged attack. He’s now seeking damages for assault and battery, as well as defamation, claiming Boosie made false statements about him on social media. He’s also suing the nightclub’s owner, 1720 Main Street Entities, alleging they overserved alcohol to Boosie and his group, creating an unsafe workplace.

Boosie was arrested in May following the incident. Club management told Houston police that the woman involved was the rapper’s niece, confirming details now surfacing in the civil complaint.

Boosie’s attorney, Carl A. Moore, pushed back on the allegations in a statement. “We plan to vigorously investigate and defend Mr. Hatch against these allegations. We wish everyone would reserve any judgement and allow this case to play out in court,” Moore said. He characterized Boosie’s actions as an attempt to defend his niece and defuse the confrontation.

Tristan is also accused of recruiting three other women using the so-called “lover boy method,” allegedly showering them with lavish gifts before using those gestures to “emotionally blackmail” them into sex work.

Prosecutors further allege Tristan pressured 11 witnesses to lie or abandon their statements. The pattern of intimidation is part of what makes this case so serious.

Andrew, meanwhile, is accused of trying to silence alleged victims and witnesses with threats of lawsuits and demands for “exorbitant compensations.” DIICOT also claims he sold five luxury vehicles while knowing they were under seizure orders.

The brothers separately face 21 charges in Britain, including rape, human trafficking and actual bodily harm. These parallel investigations show how widespread the allegations have become.

Andrew has dismissed related civil accusations as a “pack of lies” and “gross fabrications.”

A spokesperson said the brothers “categorically deny every allegation,” adding, “This is not a conviction, nor a judicial finding of fact.”
