Below Deck’s Nathan Gallagher Fired After Conviction

Reality television accountability just took a serious turn. Nathan Gallagher is out at Bravo after the Below Deck star was convicted of assault and choking offenses tied to an alleged domestic violence incident involving his partner and co-star Gael Cameron.

“Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future,” a spokesperson for the network told Rolling Stone on Friday. This decision reflects the network’s commitment to addressing reality television accountability in entertainment spaces.

Gallagher, 28, was convicted after failing to appear for his scheduled court hearing Tuesday in Australia. The charges included assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and intentionally choking a person without consent, according to the outlet.

Police said Gallagher was “believed to be offshore,” while a judge issued a warrant for his arrest.

The case stems from an alleged Dec. 26, 2025 dispute with Cameron, whom Gallagher met while filming Season 9 of Below Deck Mediterranean.

Court documents cited by Rolling Stone alleged Gallagher held Cameron down and placed both hands around her neck, leaving her unable to breathe. These serious allegations underscore the importance of addressing domestic violence in all communities.

The pair later welcomed a son in June 2025.

One week before the hearing, Gallagher told Rolling Stone he had “made mistakes,” but claimed “only one side of what was an extremely complicated situation” had been presented.

Gallagher is reportedly expected to remain in the season’s upcoming episodes.
