    About: Hood Cream is a dairy-free ice cream brand located in New Orleans, LA. Created in 2020 by Nikki Thompson, a local ice cream enthusiast and risk taker. This creamy business started with courageous, and herbaceous flavor selections. Providing exceptional ice cream bar services throughout the metro New Orleans area at vendor markets and events. Hood Cream is a black-woman owned company set to open its first brick and mortar, ice cream lounge, October 2022.


    Ruby Scoops

    About: Located in Northside Richmond, Va., Ruby Scoops is a local  creator of premium small batch ice creams, sorbets, sherbets, and desserts, all handcrafted and scratch made by Chef & Owner, Rabia Kamara, co-owner Emmett Wright, and the Scoops Squad.

    Ruby Scoops came to fruition October 2014, when Rabia noticed the increasing rarity of consistent high quality local desserts. She decided it was time to help change that, all the while beginning to take steps to work for herself.
