Everybody remembers 2000 as the year of Thong Song. But Thong Song never went No.1, it stalled at No.3. The record that actually took Sisqó to the top was this one, a ballad Montell Jordan wrote after watching Jerry Maguire. It was a late add to the album, then 26 years ago today it hit No.1 on the R&B chart and took the Hot 100 right after. His only No.1 ever. The slow song did what the anthem couldn't.

Shaboozey pulled Kehlani into his world for 'Bullets and Blade,' a standout on his new album 'The Outlaw Cherie Lee & Other Western Tales.' The whole project plays like a film, 20 tracks, a full cast including Leon Bridges, Gunna, and Teyana Taylor, and Jamie Foxx narrating. Kehlani in a country lane works perfectly.

The legendary Angela Winbush came through to Cadillac Chronicles TV with some certified generational classics. Her mic is all the way on and she played no games. She's a dope person with great energy and has contributed so much to music culture.

How good is it to see Amber Mark back? Just over a month ago she was taking her first steps back after a vocal hemorrhage, surgery, and weeks where she could not sing at all. Today she performed a full set at Osheaga, giving the crowd 'Lose My Cool' and so much more like she never left.
