Giudice family legal matters are making headlines again. Milania Giudice’s recent arrest has brought attention back to her older sister, Gia Giudice, and their family’s run-ins with the law. It’s a situation that feels like reading through a curated reading list of family drama—except this is real life.
Milania, 20, was arrested by Montville Township Police on May 14 after an alleged incident. The daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and ex-husband Joe Giudice was charged with “simple assault” and “purposely/ knowingly causing a bodily injury.” A court spokesperson told The U.S. Sun that the case was classified under domestic violence, but details about who else was allegedly involved haven’t been made public. This latest Giudice family legal matters development adds another layer to an already complicated family narrative.
Gia, 25, has also had prior legal matters, though her record consists of traffic citations. In May 2019, she was charged with delaying traffic, pleaded guilty, and paid a fine. Months later, she was charged with speeding after allegedly driving 79 mph in a 65-mph zone, then pleaded guilty and paid another fine.
The pattern continued into 2020, when Gia pleaded guilty and paid fines after being charged with speeding and obstruction of the windshield for vision. She also paid a fine after failing to possess a driver’s insurance card. A 2021 speeding case was dismissed the day after it was filed. In January 2024, Gia pleaded guilty to obstruction of windshield for vision.
Milania was previously cited in 2022 for ATV-related violations, all of which have since been dismissed.
