After balling out at the University of Georgia, James Cook got drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 2022. He quickly became essential to their game. He broke records as the first Bills running back in years to crush 1,000 rushing yards in a season, tying another record for most rushing touchdowns in a season. He’s also a two-time Pro Bowler.

So, naturally, the Bills Mafia is curious about this star – especially who he’s dating.

Let’s dive into the deets on Cook’s girlfriend, Bella Cvetanovski, and where you might recognize her from.

When Cook and Cvetanovski Went Public

If you were wondering if Cook was off the market, he made it official in 2024 with a shoutout to Cvetanovski on social media.

He posted a series of cute pics of them, with the caption: “The person who keeps me grounded and inspires me every day. Grateful to have you by my side, Bella.”

Cvetanovski is the Captain of an NFL Cheerleading Squad

Born and raised in Michigan, Cvetanovski hit up the University of Cincinnati before transferring to Oakland University to study public relations and advertising.

These days, Cvetanovski is killin’ it as an NFL cheerleader and captain of the Detroit Lions squad.

And for those side-eyeing the cheerleader/player dating rule – that only applies if they’re on the same team. So, Cook and Cvetanovski are good.

Cook’s boo is also a social media maven with over 11,000 followers. Besides cheerleading posts, she shares fitness and nutrition content.

Cvetanovski is a Former Detroit Pistons Dancer

Before rocking the Lions’ colors, Cvetanovski was an NBA dancer for the Detroit Pistons.

She told the Oakland Post how she “fell in love with the style of dance and the environment, so I knew that this is what I wanted to do.” She also shared that the DPD audition process is intense, with “two full days of tryouts” and learning “a variety of routines ranging from jazz to hip-hop,” plus an interview.

Cvetanovski also discussed making nutrition a lifestyle.

“I am always creating new recipes… I am now more comfortable in knowing what my body needs, I know what will keep me full and camera ready at the same time,” she explained. “That being said, I am also a normal girl who loves to relax and eat desserts as well.”
