Kodak Black Arrested: Back Behind Bars in Florida

Kodak Black is back in jail after surrendering to authorities in Florida on new charges tied to an alleged run-in with law enforcement.

According to Broward County jail records, the rapper was booked Thursday on charges of fleeing/eluding police and resisting an officer without violence. Both charges are currently pending trial, and records reportedly show his bond set at $0. This latest booking comes as fans and legal observers continue to question whether Kodak Black is being unfairly targeted by authorities.

Kodak’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, says the rapper voluntarily turned himself in and blasted the case as another example of authorities unfairly targeting his client.

“This is a self-surrender from yet another ‘investigation’ that just happened to also take 5 months to investigate,” Cohen said, questioning why the alleged case took so long to move forward.

The attorney also claimed Kodak has repeatedly been subjected to what he believes are weak or unnecessary arrests.

“At this point I think everyone agrees that Kodak is consistently being targeted,” Cohen added.

The new arrest comes only a week after Kodak was arrested on separate alleged drug trafficking charges.

Police previously claimed they connected Kodak to more than 25 grams of MDMA after officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered two idling vehicles near the rapper.

After that arrest, Kodak posted a $75,000 bond and was reportedly ordered to stay away from drugs, firearms, and certain associates while the case remains active.

Cohen also dismissed the drug case as a “total joke,” arguing police lacked probable cause.

Social media immediately erupted once news of Kodak’s latest booking hit the internet, with fans debating whether the rapper is truly being targeted or simply struggling to stay out of legal trouble.

For now, Kodak remains behind bars as both cases continue to unfold.
