Hold up, y’all. It looks like Lil Nas X is facing some serious heat. Word on the street is that the “Old Town Road” trailblazer has been hit with four felony charges by the L.A. County District Attorney’s office. We’re talking battery with injury on a police officer and resisting an executive officer. Whew!
Now, according to reports, our boy was allegedly spotted buck naked on Ventura Blvd. in the San Fernando Valley. Can you imagine the commotion? Apparently, it got so wild that concerned drivers had to call the police. And when the officers rolled up, things supposedly escalated. They’re claiming Lil Nas X charged at them, and at least three officers ended up injured in the mix.
Because of all that, the prosecutors have filed not one, but three separate felony counts for battery on officers. Plus, that additional felony for resisting arrest. This is definitely not the kind of headline we like to see.
Lil Nas X was held without bail over the weekend, but he had a court appearance bright and early Monday morning. A judge is expected to determine his bail status, so the situation is still developing.
Authorities initially suspected that our star might have been under the influence of something. He was briefly taken to a hospital for evaluation before being transferred to jail.
If convicted, Lil Nas X could be looking at some serious time behind bars. This has fans in disbelief and the entire industry on standby. We’ll be keeping a close eye on how this all plays out. Sending positive energy his way. Let’s hope for the best possible outcome.
