Lil Wayne has a pilot backing his version of events in his legal battle with his former assistant over an alleged private jet assault. According to legal documents obtained by BlkCosmo, the pilot was recently deposed and contradicted claims made by Wayne’s ex-assistant, Andrew Williams.
Williams filed suit against the rapper back in 2022, alleging that Wayne punched him aboard a private jet. According to his account, the incident occurred when he attempted to break up an argument between Wayne and the pilot.

In the new filings, Lil Wayne contends that the pilot “impeached” Williams’s account of what happened that day. The defense team has also highlighted what they see as inconsistencies in Williams’s injury claims.
Court documents reveal that Wayne’s legal team questioned the severity of Williams’s alleged injuries. According to the filings, Williams visited an urgent care facility following the incident and was examined with no visible swelling or significant injury detected.
Medical staff prescribed ibuprofen, which Williams apparently never filled. When he sought care from other medical providers afterward, they similarly found no evidence of injury.
Wayne’s legal team is now seeking permission to depose Williams a second time, using this medical evidence to challenge his version of events on the jet.
