NFL superstar Stefon Diggs has filed a lawsuit against model and TV personality Mulan Hernandez, aka Molly Qerim, accusing her of assaulting him, attempting to extort millions, and threatening to ruin his career. The Houston Texans receiver alleges that Hernandez showed up at his apartment on June 7, 2024, after a night of partying and began “aggressively berating” him.
According to the lawsuit, Hernandez ignored Diggs’ requests to leave his home and continued to escalate the situation. Eventually, she allegedly destroyed an expensive PC, damaged a $130,000 watch, and even threw his phone into the toilet. Diggs claims that Hernandez also punched him in the chest multiple times while threatening, “You won’t be playing this year,” which he took as a career-threatening remark.
After the altercation, Diggs left his home and distanced himself from Hernandez. However, the lawsuit claims that Hernandez and her friend, Brianna Mack, later attempted to extort Diggs for millions. Hernandez initially visited a hospital claiming symptoms from a fall, but days later, she reported being assaulted by Diggs, which he vehemently denies. Diggs maintains that any physical contact was in self-defense.
The lawsuit seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, with Diggs accusing both women of trespassing, emotional distress, conspiracy, and other charges. In addition, he is suing Hernandez for assault and property damage.
On a personal note, Diggs appears to have moved on, having spent Valentine’s Day with rapper Cardi B, sparking rumors of a new relationship.
