Here’s what Lil Wayne looks for in his assistants: dog lovers with good hygiene who know how to roll a mean blunt.
Legal documents obtained by BlkCosmo reveal the oddly specific job requirements Wayne’s former assistant was responsible for during his employment with the rapper.
Andrew Williams, who worked for Wayne for years, is currently in a legal dispute with his former boss over claims Wayne assaulted him on a private jet in 2022. His job description is now being used as evidence in court.
According to the documents, the assistant was required to be on call 24/7 with duties including maintaining absolute discretion about personal matters and signing a non-disclosure agreement. The role also demanded waking Wayne on time, keeping pre-rolls ready at all times, and restocking his preferred wraps before supplies ran out.

The job description extended well beyond that. The assistant handled small purchases, reported all spending to Wayne, traveled constantly with the rapper, packed for trips, and essentially ensured his days ran without interruption.
The role required availability by phone at all hours with a fully charged device at all times. Other expectations included running errands, being comfortable around kids and dogs, maintaining a “self-motivated” demeanor, and projecting a “positive attitude.”
Lil Wayne‘s team also stipulated the assistant “must keep up with fast-paced lifestyle without engaging personally.”
Additional requirements included the ability to work under pressure, maintain mental soundness, possess physical strength to carry bags, and demonstrate “pleasant personal hygiene.”
Williams is suing Wayne for allegedly assaulting him after attempting to intervene in a fight between the rapper and the pilot. Wayne has denied all allegations, asserting any physical actions were taken in self-defense.
