Megan Thee Stallion Gives Tearful Testimony In Defamation Trial Against Milagro Gramz: ‘I Genuinely Didn’t Care If I Lived Or Died’

The Houston hottie, Megan Thee Stallion, hit the witness stand this past Thursday (November 20) with a tearful testimony. This was all part of her ongoing defamation trial against social media personality and blogger Milagro “Gramz” Cooper. For those keeping score, Megan (born Megan Pete) officially filed this defamation suit in October 2024. It’s directly tied to the dramatic July 2020 Tory Lanez shooting case, a situation we’re all too familiar with. Lanez, the Toronto rapper, was convicted by a jury in December 2022 and then sentenced to a decade in prison in August 2023.

Just to recap, Daystar Peterson (aka Lanez) was found guilty of three serious felonies: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, having a loaded and unregistered firearm in his vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

Megan Thee Stallion’s Emotional Testimony Against Gramz

Testifying in a Miami federal courthouse, Megan detailed how Cooper allegedly orchestrated a targeted and coordinated social media campaign. This wasn’t just online chatter; it was a deliberate effort to intimidate, harass, and defame her – claims echoed in her lawsuit. She asserts Cooper spread lies about her to discredit her, especially after she bravely named Lanez as her shooter.

During her testimony, Megan specifically called out social media posts where Gramz attacked her character, even labeling her a liar and mentally ill. She shared her pain with the court, as reported by ABC News, stating:

“She’s created a space for a lot of people to come speak negatively about me. I felt like nobody cared that I was shot. I know everyone was making jokes about it.”

The jury didn’t just see posts; they were also shown X-ray photos of Megan’s feet, clearly revealing bullet fragments from that terrifying 2020 shooting.

It was an emotional moment for Megan on the stand. She broke down in tears while reviewing Gramz’s social media posts, explaining how these public attacks, which urged people to doubt her story, plunged her into severe emotional distress. With raw honesty, Megan bravely shared:

“There was a time that I genuinely didn’t care if I lived or died. I felt like no way I mattered. No way I should even be living. I don’t want to be here. I’m tired of waking up. I just wanted to die. I was so tired of being alive.”

When asked about her recovery journey, Megan admitted she was just having an “OK” day. Despite the difficulty, she expressed relief at being able to testify and share her truth, hoping that some good would come from it. “I’m not going to kill myself,” she declared, “because I’m not going to give them what they’re looking for.” She then shared how she found strength again after enduring so much, hoping her story empowers other women to speak their own truths.
