Strategist Alex Bruesewitz
Nicki Minaj Ain’t Beggin’ President Trump for Nothin’

Nicki Minaj‘s bond with President Donald Trump is the real deal, according to a Trump insider who says she’s never asked him for anything in return.
Political consultant Alex Bruesewitz, who helped connect the rapper with the president, ran into us outside the Capitol Hill Club in D.C. on Wednesday. He had nothing but praise for Nicki, calling her a great person with a massive platform and genuine influence.

Bruesewitz was clear about one thing: Nicki Minaj and Trump’s relationship is genuine friendship, not transactional. He shut down any speculation that she was cozying up to the president for special favors or political gain.
“Nicki has never asked the president for anything. She’s only been helpful,” Bruesewitz said. “No conversation about a pardon has taken place. No conversation about financial payments has taken place.”

He also defended Nicki against critics who question her political views. Bruesewitz suggested that plenty of people simply can’t handle seeing someone as influential as her step outside the traditionally Democrat-leaning celebrity bubble.
Bruesewitz believes Nicki’s support carries real weight because she’s spent more than two decades building a deeply loyal fan base. That credibility, he explained, makes her different from what he described as celebrities who become famous overnight without that foundation.

Bruesewitz took a swipe at Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion while making his point, claiming that performances at Kamala Harris rallies don’t really shift voter behavior the way some might think they do.
For what it’s worth, Bruesewitz has connected Trump with a long list of major personalities. The roster includes Joe Rogan, Jake Paul, Theo Von, and Adin Ross. His work as a connector in these circles appears extensive.
The bottom line, according to Bruesewitz: the relationship goes beyond politics. Nicki and Trump are legitimate friends.
