Offset has a complicated relationship with casinos. He’s been shot at one, got into a heated shouting match at another, and faced a lawsuit over gambling debt. Now he’s leaning into all that chaos for his new music video.
We caught the rapper at LAX Thursday and asked about his latest visual with Don Toliver, a collaboration from his upcoming album “GMFU,” which was shot inside a casino. Offset says it’s pure art imitating life.
According to the former Migos member, his life reads like a screenplay. Filming inside a casino just seemed like the logical move.

Offset’s casino visits have been anything but quiet. In October, he clashed with staff at a Paris casino. This past April, he was shot near a casino in Florida. He’s also been hit with a lawsuit over an alleged $100K gambling debt at a Detroit casino.
When our photographer asked whether all that drama makes him think twice about returning to casinos, Offset acknowledged the concern. But his answer hints he’s not done gambling anytime soon. It’s definitely a push-pull situation for him.
The video’s worth a watch, and we managed to squeeze some intel about his upcoming music out of him too.
