Ray J Countersues! Kim & Kris Sex Tape Mastermind Claim

It looks like Ray J is officially done playing nice with the Kardashian empire, y’all. He’s firing back with a legal countersuit against Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. Remember that world-famous sex tape? Well, he’s saying it wasn’t some shocking leak that blindsided Kim. According to Ray J, it was a coordinated plan.

According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Ray J claims the truth is wildly different from what we’ve been told for nearly 20 years. He says he and Kim consensually filmed the tape back in 2003. By 2006, releasing the tape was an open discussion, with Kim allegedly pushing for Kris Jenner to oversee the whole commercial rollout and profit situation. Smart momager move, right?

Ray J is accusing Kim and Kris of spending two decades building a narrative that the tape was leaked without Kim’s consent. He claims their present anger stems from his refusal to “play along” anymore.

Kim and Kris’ attorney, Alex Spiro, has already fired back, calling Ray J’s account “disjointed rambling” and claiming the lawsuit won’t hold up in court.

But Ray’s docs dig deeper into the drama.

He claims that on *The Kardashians*, Kim, Kris, and even Ye (Kanye West) falsely accused him of:

  • Sexually assaulting Kim while she was asleep.
  • Releasing revenge porn.
  • Extorting the family.

These claims led him to initiate legal action, resulting in a settlement where Kim agreed to pay him $6 million and to stop referencing the tape on the show. But he alleges the Kardashians quickly violated that agreement with multiple statements on-air and online. Shade, anyone?

Ray J is seeking $1 million in damages. Get that bag, king!

He also addressed the “Kardashian RICO” comment that initially sparked the defamation suit, saying he wasn’t accusing them of actual crimes – but highlighting the parallels between their alleged conspiracies and RICO behavior. He says he even considered filing a civil RICO claim against them.

Finally, Ray claims a hot-mic moment during a September 2025 livestream caught him saying:

“The feds is coming to investigate because I can’t be the dirty guy no more.”

He insists that the comment wasn’t part of any coordinated accusation against the Kardashians.

As both sides prepare for court, it’s clear this feud is far from over. The truth behind one of pop culture’s most famous scandals may finally come to light. You know BlkCosmo will be on it. Stay tuned!
