Ray J‘s knockout loss to Supa Hot Fire just got messier. The promoters behind the fight are now investigating possible foul play after allegations surfaced that someone may have orchestrated the outcome.
Brand Risk Promotions announced Monday it has launched an internal investigation after one of the fighters allegedly suggested there may have been a “prearranged plan” connected to Saturday night’s bout.

While the statement avoided naming names, the timing is telling. It follows Ray J’s peculiar post-fight comments that caught everyone’s attention.
The company says the probe is being run by an attorney and former federal prosecutor tasked with determining whether anyone attempted to manipulate the outcome. Any such conduct, they note, would be a serious violation that “strikes at the heart of the sport.”
Ray J got knocked down hard during his MMA debut in Las Vegas after a bizarre first round where almost nothing happened. The real spectacle came after the stoppage, when he grabbed the mic and seemed to insinuate something had been off about the whole thing.
He said, “Yo, I thought we had a plan,” before quickly trying to walk it back and saying he didn’t want to “get anybody in trouble.” He also mentioned, “We lost a lot of money tonight.”
His remarks opened the door to speculation that the fight might have been staged or choreographed, though nothing has emerged to actually prove it. Brand Risk says if the investigation finds evidence of attempted manipulation, those responsible will face consequences.
There’s more. Ray J checked himself into a Las Vegas hospital just hours after the knockout and stayed for two days dealing with heart issues, adding another layer to an already strange situation.
