Snoop Dogg recently addressed the backlash he received for performing at the Crypto Ball honoring President Donald Trump during an Instagram Live session. In a calm but firm response, the hip-hop icon brushed off the criticism, focusing instead on spreading love and positivity.

“It’s Sunday man, I got gospel in my heart. For all that hate, I’m going to answer with love,” Snoop said, urging his critics to shift their focus. “Y’all can’t hate enough on me. I love too much,” he added.

He continued, addressing his detractors: “Get your life right, stop worrying about mine. I’m cool, I’m together. Still a Black man, still 100 percent Black.”

Snoop also took the opportunity to encourage unity, stating, “Y’all got to learn to pick each other up instead of pulling each other down… That’s what we great as Black people.”

The comments come amid a wave of criticism from fans and activists who questioned Snoop’s decision to perform at the event, given Trump’s controversial political history. Snoop’s message, however, focused on personal peace, self-love, and the importance of supporting one another in the face of adversity.
