Stefon Diggs Sues Influencer for Defamation!

The drama is unfolding, y’all! New England Patriots baller Stefon Diggs is firing back and taking a social media personality to court. He’s calling out what he describes as an absolutely wild and fabricated story.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ Sports, Diggs is suing Christopher Blake Griffith, a man he calls a “would-be social media influencer.” The claim? Griffith went online and made some seriously heavy accusations: that Diggs allegedly drugged him, sexually assaulted him, and even plotted to have him killed to keep some supposed secrets under wraps.

But Diggs is clear: every. single. word. is a lie.

Diggs states the whole situation goes back to May 2023, after he participated in a charity basketball game in D.C. He says he hung out with Griffith and a group of other influencers, they hit up a local club, and then everyone came back to his place in Rockville, Maryland.

According to Diggs, the night was pretty uneventful: he went to his room, his assistant asked Griffith to leave, and that was that.

Fast forward to the summer of 2025, more than two years later, Diggs says Griffith suddenly went online, sharing a very different—and extremely graphic—version of events with tens of thousands of followers.

Griffith accused the NFL star of drugging and assaulting him, and then claimed Diggs orchestrated a violent attack days later to silence him and hide supposed gay or bisexual “secrets.”

Diggs says Griffith didn’t just post the allegations—he tagged the NFL, the Patriots, and even Uggs (one of Diggs’ major sponsors), in what Diggs sees as a clear attempt to blow the story up and damage his brand.

The lawsuit alleges that Griffith acted with full intent, knowing the allegations were false but hoping for clout, attention, and social media fame.

Stefon says his reputation has taken a serious hit, and now he’s demanding damages and attorney’s fees. The exact amount hasn’t been disclosed, but let’s be real—with an NFL star’s name on the line, it’s gotta be a hefty sum.

Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, told TMZ:

“Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”

So, yeah, this case is about to get messy, and the courtroom showdown is definitely shaping up to be major. Stay tuned, BlkCosmo fam, because we’ll be watching this one closely!
