According to Page Six, Lopera’s attorney Tamar Arminak officially confirmed the news.
“The paternity has been confirmed. Mr. Diggs is the father of the child. Now that the child’s paternity has been established and Mr. Diggs has acknowledged his daughter, my client hopes they can work toward being great parents to their child.” It’s all about doing what’s best for the children, right?
This confirmation arrives nearly a year after Lopera bravely filed a paternity suit against Diggs back in December 2024. She requested full legal and physical custody and wanted the Patriots star to cover all those pregnancy and birth expenses, plus her legal fees. We gotta respect a woman who knows her worth and advocates for her child.
After Lopera’s gave birth in April 2025, Diggs requested a genetic test in July, citing uncertainty over the child’s paternity. Well, the results are in, and it’s official! Diggs is the father. Let’s hope everyone can move forward with grace and maturity.
While the paternity situation is settled, Lopera’s lawyer shared with Page Six that the case isn’t over just yet and will “move forward if the parties are not able to resolve [their issue] themselves.” Navigating these situations can be tough, so let’s hope for a peaceful resolution for all parties involved.
