Butch Huskey and Black Celebs Lost in 2026
Former New York Mets slugger Butch Huskey has died at 54, leaving behind a career remembered for both his power and his connection to Jackie Robinson. Huskey spent most of his seven-year MLB career with the Mets, although it also included stints with the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins. His best season came in 1997, when he hit 24 home runs and drove in 81.

Black Stars at the 2026 Stellar Awards
Some of the biggest names in gospel music gathered in Charlotte, N.C., last night for the 41st Stellar Awards. Hosted by GRAMMY Award-winning artist Kirk Franklin, the awards celebrated the year's biggest songs and artists who have entertained and inspired fans around the world. Among the night's biggest winners were Lisa Knowles-Smith & The Brown Singers, who won five awards, including Song of the Year and Quartet of the Year.

Trump Pardon Broker Texts Shared by Boosie Badazz
Boosie Badazz is posting receipts of his alleged conversations with pardon brokers who couldn't secure him clemency from President Trump. The texts show a chaotic string of messages full of typos from one of the men he claims he paid $600,000. The rapper posted screenshots on his X account Monday, which appear to be communications between him and Jack Burkman, one of the alleged pardon brokers. The messages were exchanged between November 2025 and February 2026, with Jack assuring Boosie that his team was working on getting him a Trump pardon. Ultimately, Boosie wants his money back and is now suing Jack and fellow political operative Jacob Wohl to recoup his cash.

Kanye’s Ex-Employee Seeks $23M for Alleged Discrimination
Kanye West's former employee Benjamin Provo is laying out his case against the musician as he seeks an eight-figure sum, claiming he was discriminated against because of his hairstyle. Benjamin says he believes he's owed up to around twenty-three million in damages from Kanye and his Donda Academy, claiming he was fired for refusing to cut off his dreads.
