D4vd Charged With Murder of 14-Year-Old Girl
D4vd, whose legal name is David Burke, has been formally charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas. Celeste's remains were discovered in an abandoned Tesla in September 2025. Burke also faces charges for sexual offenses involving a minor and body mutilation. He could face life without parole or the death penalty if convicted.

D4vd is reportedly in police custody following his arrest in connection with the ongoing investigation into the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas. Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division took the singer into custody on Tuesday and he is currently being held without bail.

A Florida man took the life of his wife and shot his stepdaughter before ending his own life after an argument over an NFL game. Jason Kenney, 47, shot Crystal Kenney and a 13-year-old girl who survived. He later fled and took his own life.

Rapper Tay-K, known for his 2017 hit “The Race,” has been convicted of murder in a 2017 case involving a fatal shooting at a Chick-fil-A in San Antonio. Though acquitted of capital murder, he received an 80-year sentence, to run concurrently with his existing 55-year term for a 2016 robbery-related homicide.

The Odyssey: Black Actors Overlooked in Film
The Odyssey is the biggest movie in the world, yet right-wing commentators insisted Christopher Nolan had gone woke by casting Black actors in prominent roles. But the reality is far different. Black actors appear briefly with minimal screen time. Travis Scott speaks the first words but that lasts ten seconds. Lupita Nyong'o plays two roles with only a few minutes of screen time. Corey Hawkins appears slightly longer as a despicable character. Zendaya gets minimal screen time looking upset. The imaginary woke takeover conservatives invented had far more Black representation than what Nolan actually delivered. He provided exactly what he always does: a movie as white as his previous films. The outrage was directed at a version of The Odyssey that never existed.

YG Detained in Drakeo the Ruler Murder Investigation
Rapper YG had a run-in with cops Thursday morning during a SWAT response but was ultimately released. The Burbank Police Department responded around 7 AM PT. Cops were executing a search warrant for the investigation into Drakeo the Ruler's murder. The property is connected to YG, who had beef with the late rapper but has denied involvement. YG was not arrested, only detained during the search warrant and released. He was scheduled to perform that night against The Game in their Compton Forever VERZUZ battle.
