Teyana Taylor & Aaron Pierre Call It Quits After a Year Together

Looks like love is taking a backseat as Teyana Taylor and Aaron Pierre have reportedly ended their year-long relationship. According to sources who spoke with Page Six, the couple has decided to go their separate ways, following weeks of online speculation that had fans questioning the status of their romance.

While no specific reason for the split has been made public, insiders say both stars are choosing to focus on their individual paths as their careers continue to heat up. Taylor is currently enjoying a major career high after earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in One Battle After Another. Meanwhile, Pierre is leveling up in Hollywood with upcoming roles in Star Wars: Starfighter alongside Ryan Gosling, as well as DC Studios and HBO’s highly anticipated series, Lanterns.

The pair first sparked dating rumors after stepping out together at the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles in early 2025. From there, their relationship quickly became a fan favorite, with appearances at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and during the rollout of Taylor’s album Escape Room. Pierre even made a cameo in the album trailer, where the two shared an intimate on-screen kiss that had social media buzzing.

Over the summer, Taylor publicly celebrated Pierre’s 31st birthday with a heartfelt post, highlighting how close the two had become. Pierre also starred in a short film tied to Taylor’s album and was frequently by her side during promotional events and red-carpet appearances, including the BET Awards.

Despite recently attending the London premiere of Taylor’s latest film together, it now appears the romance has come to an end. Taylor, who finalized her divorce from NBA player Iman Shumpert in 2024, has often spoken about valuing safety, peace, and companionship in her relationships. At one point, she affectionately referred to Pierre as “my apple pie,” showing just how deep things once were.

For now, both stars seem focused on their next chapters — professionally and personally — as fans wish them well on their separate journeys.
