T.I. Says Verzuz with 50 Cent Is Dead: “I Don’t Respect Him”

It looks like the long-rumored Verzuz between T.I. and 50 Cent is officially off the table β€” and according to Tip, it’s not because the idea came out of nowhere.

During a recent episode of Million Dollars Worth of Game with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267, T.I. broke down what he says really happened behind the scenes.

T.I. claims he and 50 had already discussed the possibility of doing a Verzuz battle years ago while they were both in Los Angeles working on television projects.

    According to Tip:

    • He asked 50 about doing Verzuz directly.
    • 50 allegedly agreed in the moment.
    • The plan was for T.I. to publicly β€œjump out there” first.
    • Then 50 would follow up and they’d line it up officially.

But when T.I. made the idea public, he says 50 responded like he had no clue what was being discussed.

    That’s when things shifted.

Tip explained that if 50 simply didn’t want to do it, he would’ve respected that. What bothered him, he says, was the public dismissal after what he believed was a private agreement.

For T.I., it stopped being about music and started being about character.

    He didn’t mince words either.

    β€œThat shit ain’t gonna happen.”

β€œI don’t want to stand on stage with him.”

    β€œI don’t respect him.”

With that, T.I. says the Verzuz battle is officially dead.

Whether fans ever get to see those catalogs face off now seems unlikely β€” at least from Tip’s perspective.

The back-and-forth between T.I. and 50 Cent escalated β€” and it got personal.

After Tip appeared on Million Dollars Worth of Game with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo267, he made it clear that he no longer wants to do a Verzuz battle with 50.

During the interview, T.I. claimed the two had already discussed doing Verzuz years ago while in Los Angeles pitching TV shows. According to Tip, they agreed he would publicly bring it up first, and 50 would follow behind to make it official. But once T.I. put it out there, he says 50 acted like he had no idea what he was talking about β€” which Tip felt was a character issue.

T.I. ultimately said the Verzuz is dead and that he doesn’t respect 50 anymore.

    Well, 50 clearly heard him.

In response, 50 Cent took to social media and posted an unflattering photo of Tip’s wife, Tameka β€œTiny” Harris β€” a member of Xscape β€” with the caption:

β€œI keep saying keep my name out ya mouth, πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ ok?”

The move instantly sparked reactions online, with fans debating whether the clapback went too far by bringing Tiny into the mix.

At this point, what started as Verzuz talk has officially turned into full-blown internet warfare.

And if history tells us anything, 50 isn’t done trolling yet.
