Tory Lanez and his wife are no longer moving forward with divorce proceedings. A Los Angeles judge has dismissed the case due to lack of activity, meaning the split has stalled while the rapper continues serving his 10-year sentence.
Court documents obtained by BlkCosmo show the dismissal was granted because there had been minimal movement in the case since it was filed, leaving no clear path toward a final judgment.
His wife, Raina Chassagne, filed for divorce in June 2024 after nearly a year of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, she sought legal and physical custody of their son Kai, a decision that made practical sense given Tory Lanez‘s incarceration related to the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

BlkCosmo reached out to Tory’s representatives for comment but has not yet received a response.
