Tupac Killer Murder Trial: Live Stream Coverage

The murder trial for alleged Tupac Shakur killer Duane “Keefe D” Davis is set to begin, with opening arguments being live streamed for public viewing. Nearly 30 years after Tupac was gunned down near the Las Vegas Strip, a Nevada courtroom is finally seeing the case move toward resolution.

Prosecutors allege that Keefe D orchestrated the murder and supplied the weapon, though they contend he was not the shooter. The case has long captivated the public, fueled by decades of speculation and Keefe D’s own boasts about his involvement in the killing. He’s been held at the Clark County Detention Center since his 2023 arrest.

Keefe D has pleaded not guilty to all charges. A conviction would mean life in prison, a prospect he ostensibly doesn’t fear given his long history with the criminal justice system. Still, sources suggest he’s realistic about what extended incarceration means at 64 years old. “Prison is a dangerous place and horrible things happen there, especially when you’re older,” one insider said.

Jury selection drew from over 100 prospective jurors and proved extensive. According to the Associated Press, the pool was questioned about their favorite books and films, their familiarity with Tupac Shakur‘s music, and their attitudes toward gang culture. The final jury consists of 12 members and 4 alternates.
