A$AP Rocky Wants to Fight Drake Without Gloves

A$AP Rocky says he’s willing to throw hands with Drake—bare knuckles, no gloves, straight-up Irish style.

The Harlem rapper made the bold declaration during a preview of his upcoming interview with Jason Lee. When asked point-blank if he’d face Drake in a celebrity boxing match, Rocky didn’t hesitate. His answer? “Bare knuckles like the Irish.” This beef goes deep, rooted in A$AP Rocky‘s relationship with Rihanna. The couple now shares three children, and Rocky has made it clear the tension started when he and Rihanna became an item.

“I just woke up and felt like he was throwing subs,” Rocky said about Drake previously. “That’s 2020, gangsta. Me and shorty was locked in. Everything was subsequent after that.”

The back-and-forth between these two has been playing out in bars and diss tracks for years. Rocky took a shot on Future and Metro Boomin’s 2024 track “Show of Hands,” and Drake came right back on “Family Matters,” making jokes about Rihanna and another baby before Rocky drops new music.

Rocky fired back harder on “Stole Ya Flow,” rapping, “First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ b—h.” Drake appeared to respond again on “Burning Bridges,” even questioning why Rihanna hadn’t promoted Rocky’s single. It’s the kind of lyrical sparring that keeps hip hop biography writers busy and fans debating for years.
