Itβs official, fam β Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are ready to jump the broom! π
The former GMA3 co-anchors dropped the news on their “Amy & T.J.” podcast, letting everyone know they’ve been engaged for about a month now, almost two years after their romance became headline news.
βWe wanted to let you all know before anyone else could break the news,” Holmes shared. “We’ve definitely learned a lesson about privacy.”
The couple joked about how Amy was low-key showing off the ring for weeks. “I was at three massive football stadiums, ring on full display, and nobody said a thing!” Amy laughed.
They’ve been celebrating their love privately with close family and friends, promising to share all the juicy details about the proposal soon.
Their engagement is a major step in a relationship that started back in 2022 at ABC. Their romance was big news because they were both still married at the time β Amy to actor Andrew Shue, and T.J. to attorney Marilee Fiebig.
Sources close to them insist there was no overlap between their new love and their past marriages. Since then, they’ve moved in together and launched their podcast, where they’re getting real about their love story and the lessons theyβve learned along the way.
Amy had mentioned before that if she were to get married again, she’d want it to be small and intimate.
βI would want it to be a very intimate gathering,β she said earlier this year. βIβd absolutely run off and elope somewhere β maybe Fiji or Vegas.β
Whether they choose an island getaway or a cozy ceremony, one thingβs for sure: Amy and T.J. are writing their next chapter, hand in hand. β€οΈ
