Icons Brandy and Monica are gracing the cover of ESSENCE Magazine, and we’re absolutely here for it. The September 2025 issue, captured by Myesha Evon, celebrates the enduring legacy and impact of these two powerhouse vocalists. It’s a moment many have been waiting for, a testament to their individual brilliance and their unforgettable collaboration.
Shelby Ln Stewart penned the story accompanying the stunning visuals. Jason Rembert styled the shoot, bringing a fresh and sophisticated aesthetic to the cover. JStayReady_ handled Brandy’s hair, while IAmHairByHe styled Monica’s. Gaby served as Brandy’s makeup artist, and the set design was the work of Sssinclaire. Msshanita D served as the tailor for the garments featured in the spread.
