Okay, real talk. Things got a little too real outside New York Fashion Week when Draya Michele and her NBA bae, Jalen Green, were caught up in a tense late-night situation. We’ve all been there, right?
Word on the street (thanks to footage obtained by the Daily Mail) is that the “Basketball Wives” OG, Draya, was seen confronting the Houston Rockets star, Jalen, outside The Manor Hotel in SoHo around 2 a.m. on Friday morning. It’s never a good look, but hey, we’re not judging… just observing.
Apparently, the couple, fresh from turning heads at Mer Alas’ annual NYFW soirée, were in the middle of a heated exchange. Imagine the scene: friends playing peacemaker, trying to diffuse the situation while Draya made her way toward Jalen, who seemed to be adding fuel to the fire. We’ve all seen or been a part of this movie before, fam.
Onlookers caught the drama spilling onto the city streets as the group exited the Seventy One Gin afterparty. One friend, bless their heart, desperately tried to mediate, saying, “Stop, stop, stop… everybody going to get into trouble… everybody forgive each other!” You know it’s real when the “everybody forgive each other” line comes out!
Despite their friend’s best efforts, Draya and Jalen continued their back-and-forth before someone wrapped an arm around Draya, guiding her away from the scene as tensions slowly cooled down. Sometimes you just need a friend to pull you back, right?
The couple, who went public earlier this year, have been the subject of much chatter, largely due to their age-gap romance. But this fiery moment proves that their relationship is facing just as much pressure off the court as it is online. Guess we’ll see what happens next!
