Kayla Nicole says she has no interest in dating rising ballplayers

American sports media personality Kayla Nicole has revealed that she prefers dating the big ballers in business rather than rising ballplayers.

On Tuesday, November 25, the podcaster was a guest on an episode of Boyfriend Material with Harry Jowsey, where she revealed that her pool of options has expanded.

In the past, Kayla dated Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce on and off for five years before they broke up for good back in 2022.

In 2023, the NFL player began seeing Taylor Swift, and the couple got engaged in August.

Nearly an hour into the show, Podcast host Jowsey seemed to be flirting with Kayla by telling her that he co-owns a Los Angeles Rugby team.

Kayla asked the show host if he has “owner friends,” and continued, “I keep saying I don’t want to date any more athletes, but I’m down to date the owners of the teams.”

“And 10 other, 20 other women. You seem like you come with a lot. I’m not going to lie,” she joked to Jowsey, who was visibly taken aback.

When she dressed as Toni Braxton from the 2000 music video for “He Wasn’t Man Enough” on Halloween, Kayla said goodbye to Kelce and other professional athletes.

About a fortnight before, Swift released her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl, and listeners felt like she was taking a little shade at Kayla on the track “Opalite.”

“You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone/You were in it for real, she was in her phone/And you were just a pose,” Swift sang on the song.

Soon after, Kayla appeared to respond with a video from former reality competition show America’s Next Top Model, where third cycle winner Eva Marcille said she wouldn’t waste her time comparing herself to other women.

Over the years, Kayla Nicole has built a multifaceted career that shows real growth, across sports reporting to being an entrepreneur.

After she earned a degree in broadcast journalism, Nicole worked for outlets such as ESPN and Barstool Sports, covering NBA and NFL games and red-carpet events.

Now, she’s made it clear she wants the big ballers in the game, as she continues to expand her following and growth in the media.
