It sounds like something straight out of a movie, but King Harris really got booked while rocking a full Pikachu onesie this weekend in Georgia. Gwinnett County police pulled over the young rapper around 1 AM Sunday after clocking him going 60 in a 45.
What started as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated when officers say they spotted a firearm inside the vehicle. Police claim they ordered King Harris out of the car, but he refused—leading to his arrest. During the stop, officers also reportedly found a vape pen containing THC.
Per the report, King Harris—the son of T.I. and Tameka “Tiny” Harris—was hit with a felony charge for possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor for obstruction, and additional citations for speeding and not wearing a seatbelt.
But what really has the internet talking is how King handled the situation. He took to Instagram Stories, posting selfies in the Pikachu outfit even after being pulled over, joking, “They caught da Pikachu wit a master ball.”
He later shared another photo without the costume, flipping off the camera and posting explicit messages directed at law enforcement—adding even more fuel to the viral moment.
This isn’t King’s first run-in with the law. Back in 2024, he was arrested after allegedly nearly hitting a police vehicle while leaving a gas station. Officers at the time reported smelling marijuana and later discovered he had an outstanding warrant.
Despite the seriousness of the charges, King appeared to take the situation lightly online—but now, all eyes are on how this latest case will play out.
