Kodak Black is back behind bars after being booked into the Orange County Jail on a serious drug trafficking charge. The news has people talking, especially because his name stays in the mix whenever legal trouble hits the headlines.

According to reports, Kodak Black, born Bill Kapri, was arrested Wednesday following an investigation tied to an incident outside the Children’s Safety Village in Orlando back in November.

Police were reportedly called to the area after gunfire was heard outside the nonprofit facility. When officers arrived, they found a BMW and a Lamborghini parked nearby. Authorities said they noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicles, which led to a search.

During that search, Kodak allegedly approached officers while they were inspecting the cars. Investigators claimed they found a pink pair of scissors inside one of the vehicles that matched scissors seen in a photo previously posted on his Instagram. Officers also reportedly spotted jewelry in the car that matched rings the rapper had shown online.

Authorities said the investigation eventually led to drugs being discovered inside the vehicle, resulting in the trafficking charge.

This latest arrest adds to Kodak Black’s long history of legal troubles. In 2023, he was arrested in South Florida on charges including cocaine possession, evidence tampering, and probation violation. Before that, in 2022, he faced charges connected to oxycodone trafficking and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

Despite his ongoing legal issues, Kodak remains one of the most recognizable names in rap. Fans are once again reacting online, trying to make sense of what this could mean for his future and career.
