Celebrity feuds can get messy fast. Lizzo just proved she’s not interested in playing that game.
The singer opened up during a recent TikTok Live and set the record straight about her situation with Nicki Minaj. When fans asked where the two stand now, Lizzo kept it real but measured. She made it clear that celebrity feuds aren’t worth her energy or peace of mind.
“Somebody asked me if I still f–k with Nicki Minaj,” she told viewers. “I think that other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”
Rather than rehashing old posts or exchanges, Lizzo said she’s made a conscious choice to tune out the noise. It’s a vibe we can respect, honestly.
“I don’t really know what exactly was said about me, but I do know that there were some things said about me from her on the internet,” she shared. “I am choosing not to know about that. I don’t want to know.”
“A lot of people talk s–t about me on the internet,” Lizzo continued. “People I actually know, people I actually have a personal relationship [with] have talked s–t about me on the internet like I’m just a random celebrity to them. It’s bizarre.”

Lizzo emphasized that despite her feelings, she doesn’t want her comments twisted into drama. She’s not looking for beef with Minaj—she’s looking for peace.
“I do not know Nicki Minaj personally,” Lizzo said. “Please do not clip this and make this into something it’s not.”
Before wrapping up the livestream, she also addressed speculation about her politics, adding, “I’m not MAGA. That’s one thing you ain’t ever gonna see me switch up on.”
