Chile, you won’t believe this! Nicki Minaj is claiming she’s been hit by a major credit card scam, and get this – she suspects folks close to her are behind it. Our Queen reportedly discovered nearly $30,000 in unauthorized charges on her American Express, spread across five transactions. And it sounds like these alleged thieves had access to her brand-new card number!
Sharing screenshots of the charges, Nicki wrote:
“3 different people in a span of 2 months charging my Amex w/o permission. Some couldn’t even explain how they had the brand new card number. Hmmmm.”
She also claimed some individuals had allegedly been making unauthorized charges for years, saying she filed the first police report weeks ago and warning that “they’re all going to jail.”
Adding more drama, Nicki accused a fourth person of being involved and alleged that one of the thieves had been tracking her every move using a device connected to his phone number. She said she confronted those involved and that they were “caught red handed.”
“Caught RED handed being thieves & worse… Let’s see if they’ll go to jail for their ring leaders… Hope the group chats were worth it.”
Here’s where it gets extra spicy! Remember that old beef between Nicki and Cardi B? Cardi once accused Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, of using *her* Amex while she was sedated. While Nicki hasn’t confirmed any connection, the timing is definitely adding fuel to the fire. Whew, the drama!
Nicki hasn’t named any suspects publicly yet, but trust, she’s on it. It’s clear she’s taking this seriously and pushing to hold people around her accountable.
