#Socialites, what do you think? Plies is speaking his mind, saying that folks who voted for Trump over Kamala Harris in 2024 would do it again, despite how things are in the country right now.
The Florida rapper has been calling out Trump since way back in 2016, when it was Trump versus Hillary Clinton. From that election to Trump’s first term, the 2020 election against Biden, and even now during Trump’s second term, Plies hasn’t held back.
Recently, the “Hypnotized” rapper took to Instagram to call out the people who voted for Trump over Harris. On a Sunday in November, during Trump’s second government shutdown, Plies went off on Trump’s supporters.
He said that even with everything going on—government shutdown, SNAP benefit cuts, high grocery prices, cost of living increases—those same people would vote for Trump again. Why? Because “they hate that Black woman more than what they’re currently going through right now.”

Plies captioned his nearly 3-minute video, “🙄 Just So We Clear!!!! They Would Do It Again!!!!” In the video, he said:
“Hey, just real quick. I just saw it on the news, but they were interviewing somebody. And the lady, she was crying and, you know, just talking about how is she gonna feed her kids [after they] took SNAP away from her.
And I’m a very empathetic person, for sure. But I’ve been telling myself this last couple of days. I said, man, I’m the only people that I’m really sympathizing with right now — who’s experiencing high grocery prices and SNAP being taken away, and trying to figure out how they gonna feed their kids, and waiting in the long lines in the airport, three, four hours. The only people that I’m really sympathizing and empathizing with is the motherf***ers who didn’t vote for this, who didn’t vote for him. Ain’t no motherf***ing for this…who didn’t vote for him. The other seven-something other f***ing million people, I’m not motherf***ing sympathetic for [them].
And I’m gonna tell you why I feel that way. Because I believe with everything in me, if this country had to redo this same goddamn election that happened 11 months ago, I believe with everything in me, these motherf***ers would do the same thing again. And the reason that I say that is because they hate that motherf***ing Black woman more than they hate what they currently going through, right motherf***ing now. They hate her more than what they currently motherf***ing going through right now. And I believe that with everything in me.
And for me to believe that and to feel that motherf***ing—see, you tricked me. This motherf***ing country. I was motherf***ing optimistic. I think that’s the right word. I didn’t think this motherf***ing country—I just didn’t think this country was who I motherf***ing thought it was. It tricked me. But it’ll never motherf***ing trick me again. And by me understanding that, I feel the way that I motherf***ing feel.”
