Diddy was transported out of federal prison early Saturday morning for a medical emergency, according to sources familiar with the situation.

Staff at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey confirmed that Diddy left the prison grounds early Saturday to receive treatment for a head injury. He was presumably transported to a nearby hospital, though officials haven’t released specific details about his destination or condition.

An ambulance pulled out of Fort Dix around 1 AM Saturday, though the injury doesn’t appear to have been life-threatening. Sources say he was conscious and communicative during the transport and was returned to the prison before sunrise.

The exact cause of the head injury remains unclear at this time.

This incident marks another chapter in what’s been a turbulent stint at the New Jersey facility for the music mogul.

He’s been housed in the special housing unit following reports that he was receiving preferential treatment—including massages, alcohol, and unauthorized phone access. In July, he was involved in an altercation with another inmate inside the facility.

His projected release date has been pushed back several weeks, now scheduled for March 2028 instead of January 2028.

Story developing.
